Frontend Developer

Our client, a leading software development firm, in the SAAS field, is looking for a Frontend developer to join their team remotely from Vietnam. Applicants that can communicate in English will have preference in this role.

Experience and requirements

• 5+ years experience as a frontend developer.
• 3+ years experience with ReactJS.
• Solid spoken and written English is beneficial.
• Experience in gambling or betting is beneficial.
• Experience working in a multi-functional team of developers, including backend and QA.
• Experience with Server-Side Rendering, (NextJS)
• Experience with ECMAScript 6, Typescript, React Hooks, Context API,
• Redux, RxJs, OOP design standards, functional components, and industry best-practices.
• Experience with the CSS pre-processor SCSS
• Experience creating responsive components.
• Knowledge of SEO best practices.
• Working with Rest API's, JWT, GRPC, GraphQL, Websockets and video streams.
• Experience with Webpack.
• Good understanding of browser rendering behaviour and performance.

Responsibilities

• Deliver work to high quality and on time as per sprint planning.
• Ensure good engineering processes are followed and code quality is maintained.
• Be hands on, whether that be implementing features or doing code reviews.
• Perform code reviews and provide mentoring for other team members, to uphold best practices and share knowledge across the team.
• Creation and maintenance of technical documentation where appropriate.
• Take product requirements and provide solutions, breakdown tasks and provide estimates.
• Troubleshoot and fix production issues.
