Our client is seeking for General Accountant in Ho Chi Minh City, will be responsible for the day-to-day activities of the full accounting functions, ensures the strict compliance with the procedures and processes and produces accurate financial and management accounts. He/she proactively identifies, develops and implements processes and tools to allow efficient, timely and accurate reporting.
Responsibilities:
- Bookkeeping, post day-to-day transactions into accounting software
- Reconcile accounts payable and receivable
- Preparation of VAT returns, handle monthly, quarterly and annual closings. Also report on the customer's financial health and liquidity.
- Liaising with customers and advising them on changes, providing information with regard to their accounts and also dealing with any complaints or queries.
- Dealing with corporation tax and personal tax returns and managing customer's details and accounts.
- Cash flow and budget forecasts.
- Ensure timely bank payments
- Management of accounts, balance sheets and profit/loss statements
- Reinforce financial data confidentiality and conduct database backups when necessary
Requirements:
- BA in Accounting/ Business Accounting from University/ College
- Having over 2 years experience performing this role in hospitality, F&B.
- Quick-adapt, working under pressure.
- Good verbal and written communication skills in English
