Comprehensive Overview:
The General Manager is responsible for all aspects of commercial operations including strategic growth, drive commercial and operational effectiveness by implementing and sustaining management operating systems. The General Manager is accountable for the overall P&L of the company.
The General manager plays a crucial role in driving the company's growth plans in Vietnam.The one is to set the annual business objectives are responsible to meet the required business objectives by appropriate deployment of resources, monitoring & guidance.
Key Responsibilities:
The role of the General Manager includes the following responsibilities:
- To develop and implement strategies that help the company achieve its goals, increase revenue, and improve efficiency.
- To develop and manage budgets to ensure the company is operating within its financial - constraints.
- To provide effective leadership, guidance, and mentorship by formulating performance goals and - objectives to ensure team members meet the company's performance standards.
- To strategize sales activities within assigned territories, identifying potential clients through industry market research, networking, and competitor activities
- To eloquently present and showcase the value proposition of the offered products or services to clients during sales pitches, trade shows, or other opportunities.
- To cultivate and maintain new and existing relationships with customers to promote the organization's interests and ensure its success.
- To identify the Growth and Expansion Tracks and lead Business Development programs for the company.
- To manage the business development process for regional growth.
Overall, the General Manager is responsible for ensuring that the organization's is meeting the overall growth plans and profitability requirements as set by the board of directors by managing both the expansion programs and ensuring smooth commercial operations.
Specific task:
- Manage organisation structure to position for growth. (Transit from current model to new service model)
- Sales team development and go-to-market strategy.
Dealer model Business Process
Develop business process in accordance with the company's requirements in accordance with local law.
- People management
- Partner with regional stakeholders to develop business activities
- Oversee the setup of GSP warehouse
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain, warehousing or logistics or related field
- Experience in 3PL/warehousing/4PL distribution in medical or healthcare industries
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in warehousing environment (GDPMDS certified)
- Good financial sense, cost awareness, and strong business acumen
- Strong organizational ability, result-oriented and problem-solving mindset
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with influencing/negotiation capabilities
- Good regional exposure
- Proactive and performance-driven, with good work ethics and integrity
- Experience in using collaboration and CRM tools such as Salesforce
- Proven experience in handling overall commercial operations
- Proven ability to build relationships, influence customers at all levels
- Working knowledge of the latest business policies and regulations
- A motivator and team player who can train, support and manage the Sales Team.
- Demonstrable analytical thinking & business insight
