Title: Senior Finance Controller Manager

Working location: District 3, HCMC

Role Overview:

The Financial Controller / Internal Control Manager will oversee financial reporting, compliance, internal controls, accounting, and credit management functions for company in Vietnam. This role ensures robust financial governance, accurate reporting, effective credit management, and alignment with both internal policies and local regulatory requirements. This position is essential for maintaining the company's financial integrity, risk management, and operational efficiency.

1.Financial Reporting and Analysis:

oPrepare, review, and ensure the accuracy of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with local GAAP and Company standards.

oDeliver timely financial reporting to management, providing insights to support decision-making and ensure alignment with the company's financial objectives.

2.Accounting and Financial Operations:

oEnsure accurate and compliant book-keeping and ledger maintenance.

oSupervise the accounting team in managing accounts payable and receivable, reconciliations, and month-end closing processes.

oMaintain compliance with statutory accounting standards and drive process improvements to enhance accuracy and efficiency.

3.Credit Management and Collections:

oEstablish and monitor credit policies to manage and mitigate credit risk.

oOversee accounts receivable collections to optimize working capital and reduce overdue payments.

oWork closely with the sales team to review customer creditworthiness and approve credit limits based on risk assessments.

4.Internal Controls and Compliance:

oImplement and monitor internal control processes to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with internal control framework.

oConduct regular internal audits and risk assessments, reporting findings and recommending improvements to senior management.

oManage and enhance the internal control environment, ensuring proactive risk mitigation across financial operations.

5.Tax and Regulatory Compliance:

oEnsure all statutory requirements are met, including tax filings, financial reporting, and compliance with local Vietnamese regulations.

oLiaise with external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory bodies for audits and assessments, ensuring accurate and compliant filings.

6.Process Improvement and Efficiency:

oDrive process improvements to optimize efficiency and accuracy within financial and accounting operations.

oStandardize and streamline financial processes and reporting across company in Vietnam, leveraging best practices.

7.Team Leadership and Development:

oMentor and manage finance team members, fostering a culture of compliance, integrity, and accountability.

oCollaborate with regional and global finance teams, sharing insights and best practices to enhance financial operations.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, or a related field; CPA or equivalent preferred.
• At least 10+ years of experience in financial controlling, internal control, accounting, and credit management within multinational companies, ideally in the pharmaceutical or FMCG sectors.
• Strong knowledge of Vietnamese accounting standards, tax regulations, and credit management.
• Proven expertise in internal controls, audit processes, credit management, and collections.
• Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively under deadlines.
