Position: Controllership Team - Gross salary: up to 37,500,000 gross
Contract: 9 months Signed contract with Talentnet.

Controllership team is a young, talented team responsible for the organization's good financial health. We regularly review the company's practices and make efforts to continually improve the accuracy and timeliness of our financial statements. The VN Controllership team strives to build a working environment that is friendly, mutually supportive and enabling of life - long learning atmosphere through regular work rotation.
We consist of 6 members and cover multiple segments: Mobility, Deliveries, Financial Group, Enterprise & New Initiatives, Country Support.
The Core Objectives (Responsibilities):
- Perform month end closing activities, variance analysis, reconciliation of multiple types
- Reviewing the reasonableness of financial numbers, drill into gaps between forecasts/ budget with actual financial results of the covered segments
- Regularly checking in with the Shared Service Center to ensure the accuracy of AR / AP / General Ledger modules
- Advising proper accounting practice and coordinating with other sub finance teams such as Shared Service Center, FPA, Tax, etc.
- Coordinating with regional financial controllers to update new accounting policies, inputing for new products roll out, helping with information drill down
- Assisting SOX / Internal / External audits, joining hands to ensure the timeliness of statutory financial reporting
- Partnering with business and providing guidance on accounting impact and avenues to seek financial optimization (new product launches/ changes of products/ others)
- Cordinating with regional fins ops team to maintain and set up automatic accounting flow, formulas, ride value, etc.
- Flagging up abnormal items
- Monitoring the accounting performance of one specific operational entity
- Other ad hoc tasks/ requests/ assignments as required by managers
Requirements:
- Bachelor degree in Accounting/ Finance or relevant
- Advanced Excel skills and exposure to ERP/Accounting systems.
- Financial mindset and able to translate business queries into financial analysis
- Professional qualifications such as ACCA/ CPA Aus/ VACPA is preferred but not mandatory
- Working experience from 3 years in Finance/ Audit or Accounting positions.
