Our client is looking for a Team Lead / Head of Engineering to join their team in NYC!u0026

In this role, you will: n
n
- Work directly with the CEO and have visibility into all aspects of the company
n
- Engage directly with our customers to iterate and build a best-in-class user experience
n
- Write code, as we expect our technical leaders to lead by example by being in the trenches with other engineers
n
- Implement and enforce engineering and operational best practices. You will set the bar for the engineering team and ensure the team delivers extraordinary results
n
- Be responsible for the companyu0026rsquo;s technical strategy and vision. You will need to balance reliability, speed of iteration, robustness u0026amp; security in the short- and long-term
n
- Represent the company externally by working with customers and partners or participating in events
n
- Help drive company culture and mentor engineers, both junior and senior

- BS or MS in computer science, engineering, or other technical degrees
n
- 5+ years of experience in hands-on software engineering, as well as technical leadership (tech lead or people manager)
n
- Experience building technologies in the crypto space
n
- Strong problem solving skills with experience independently delivering large initiatives end-to-end, from idea to live and adding value
n
- Experience with languages and frameworks such as TypeScript, React, or GraphQL
n
- Experience with tools, practices, and programming patterns for ensuring software correctness
n
- Fluent in writing design documentation as well as participating in technical discussions and reviews synchronously, asynchronously, in person or remotely
n
- Product-driven mindset with deep empathy for our customers
n
- Strong desire to work at a very early stage startup with interest to take on project from zero to one with collaboration with the rest of the core team
n

Salary Range: $150,000 - $250,000 base + equity
