The Company: A leading MNC company is seeking a Head of Industrial Sales to drive business growth and establish our market presence for industrial products across Southeast Asia. This strategic role involves building and leading a skilled sales team, establishing deep customer relationships, and developing effective sales plans. Ideal candidates will possess robust experience in sales management within industrial markets, a solid understanding of the SEA region, and a proven ability to achieve and exceed ambitious sales targets.
Responsibilities:
Strategic Sales Development
- Execute a regional sales strategy targeting sustainability.
- Perform in-depth market research to identify potential opportunities and customer demands.
- Ensure alignment of regional sales goals with broader business strategies and communicate our brand effectively across SEA.
Leadership and Team Development
- Recruit and lead a regional sales team across SEA.
- Set clear performance benchmarks, provide regular feedback, and foster a collaborative culture of high engagement.
- Build a customer-focused team environment, encouraging innovative approaches and continuous improvement.
Customer Engagement and Relationship Building
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with major clients, distributors, and partners.
- Implement strategies to increase customer loyalty, ensuring high satisfaction levels.
- Serve as the key point of contact for top accounts, leading negotiations and resolving issues efficiently.
Sales Analysis
- Track and assess sales performance, providing regular updates to the Director and relevant stakeholders.
- Analyze sales trends and data to highlight improvement areas, ensuring accurate forecasts and effective pipeline management.
- Ensure all agreements are legally reviewed and comply with the company's terms.
Market Intelligence
- Conduct frequent research and analysis to stay informed on market trends and competitive actions.
- Offer data-driven insights to inform strategic decisions and improve market positioning.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related fields. MBA or relevant advanced degree is advantageous.
- Experience: Minimum 10 years in sales management, preferably in heavy industry.
- Leadership Skills: Proven success in leading diverse, high-performing teams across multiple countries.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional interpersonal, negotiation, and communication abilities.
- Travel: Ability to travel extensively within the SEA region.
- Language: Proficiency in English. Can speak Chinese is a plus.
