The Company: Our client is an iconic fast-growing leader in the cryptocurrency space to scale their presence across Asia Pacific.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Strategic Growth Leadership: Develop and execute comprehensive growth strategies focused on increasing user acquisition and trading volume in the local market. Lead initiatives that drive both brand visibility and customer engagement.
- Business Ownership: Take full accountability for the growth and performance of the business unit. Develop innovative strategies to improve operational efficiencies and refine the local business model.
- Team Development: Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing team. Define the recruitment needs, foster a culture of excellence, and ensure the alignment of team goals with company objectives.
- Financial Stewardship: Oversee budget allocation, P&L performance, and set financial goals aligned with trading and user acquisition targets. Ensure effective use of resources to maximize return on investment.
- Marketing & Partnerships: Take charge of key marketing activities, including forging new partnerships and driving local campaigns. Lead efforts to organize impactful local events that boost brand awareness and market share.
- External Representation: Serve as the company's key representative at local industry events, media engagements, and communications with external stakeholders to strengthen brand positioning and build market credibility.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field; MBA preferred.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to inspire and lead teams towards achieving business objectives.
- Deep passion for and understanding of the cryptocurrency industry.
- Previous experience or a strong network in the crypto or blockchain ecosystem will be an advantage.
