Key Responsibilities:
- Research and identify potential guests and compelling storylines for the podcast.
- Reach out to potential guests and secure their participation in a professional and persuasive manner.
- Schedule recordings and coordinate with guests.
- Conduct background research on guests and prepare insightful questions for the host.
- Set up and manage online recording software for a seamless recording experience.
- Edit the first draft of each podcast episode using Descript.
- Draft engaging headlines, pull quotes, and create Reels and promotional content for LinkedIn.
- Assist with podcast distribution and promotion across social media channels.
- Write article summaries that highlight key takeaways for marketing directors exploring Vietnam as a growth market.
- Report on episode analytics and contribute ideas to help the podcast grow.
Qualifications:
- A degree in Journalism, Communications, or a related field is preferred but not required.
- Strong interest in journalism, podcasts, and content creation.
- Experience or interest in audio editing and project management.
- Excellent writing and editing skills.
- Ability to work well in a collaborative environment and manage multiple tasks.
- Knowledge of SEO or a willingness to learn.
- Familiarity with podcast production tools like Descript is a plus.
- Fluent in English; knowledge of Vietnamese is an advantage but not required.
