Your role purpose
You will deliver a reliable and comprehensive coverage of the infrastructure needs and IT operations in Vietnam, with special focus on IT equipment procurement, local vendor management and IT systems administration, ensuring the alignment with Global IT strategies and procedures.
Your responsibilities
- You will build the relationships with the local key stakeholders in representation of the IT department
- You will manage End-to-end (gather, organize, execute, monitor and report on) the local IT requests, incidents and change requests in close alignment with the rest of the Global IT team
- You will manage the local external IT partners and vendors.
Qualifications
- A minimum Bachelor degree/BSc in IT or Computer Science Engineering or relevant subject
- More than 3 years as IT Systems Administrator/IT Service or a similar role
- Intermediate user skills in the common (e.g. Microsoft 365 suite) and IT-specific toolkit (e.g. Jira Service Management and Azure DevOps)
- Fluent in English.
Competencies Required
- Understanding of IT standards and regulations relevant to the industry and ability to ensure compliance
- Track record of effectively delivering IT services, meeting stakeholder expectations
- Server management skills, with special focus on vendor management
- Sound technical knowledge and advanced expertise in managing and personally troubleshooting network infrastructure and systems performance
- Ability to interact with non-IT stakeholders and act as the local representative of the IT team
- Solutions-oriented mindset and capable of finding effective solutions to both known and unknown challenges
- Exposure to an international organization having collaborated across time zones and with multiple cultures
- Collaborative and eager to share knowledge with the rest of the team, synchronously and asynchronously
- Focus on productivity and very oriented towards results and high-performance
- Competence in managing change, particularly in technology adoption and system updates
- Strong travel mentality to other Asia region hubs (20%).
