Job Description

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Source vendor/supplier and get quotation or proposal from vendor based on requirements;
  • Evaluate vendor qualifications and services.
  • Assist Procurement Director in developing annual procurement plan, strategies and process improvements.
  • Control and monitor expenses against approved budgets.
  • Cost savings and budgeting and targeting.
  • Negotiate terms & conditions (price, delivery, payment,...) with vendor.
  • Process the Purchase Order/Contract to vendor based on company policies and procedures.
  • Follow up the order, chase vendor for on time delivery.
  • Risk management and solve all the arising problems with order (if have).
  • Update shipment schedule to related team/departments.
  • Update and maintain procurement DB.
  • Market trends updated.
  • Handle ad-hoc tasks.

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management, or a related field.

Experience:

  • Proven experience as a procurement officer or similar role.
  • In-depth knowledge of procurement principles, practices, and procedures.
  • In-depth knowledge of IT products and services is preferred.
  • Strong on negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and procurement software.
