The
Junior Business Analyst will take full responsibility for gathering, analyzing, and documenting requirements for the Performance Management System MVP. This role involves collaborating closely with stakeholders and development teams to ensure that the system meets business needs and provides value to its users. Key Responsibilities
Requirements Gathering:
- Conduct detailed requirements-gathering sessions with stakeholders, including HR, managers, and team leads, to capture system needs for KPI tracking, performance reviews, and bonus calculations.
- Translate stakeholder needs into clear, actionable business requirements and user stories.
Documentation and Analysis:
- Develop and maintain detailed documentation for requirements, process flows, and use cases, ensuring alignment with project objectives.
- Prepare user stories and acceptance criteria, providing clarity to the development team on expected outcomes.
Process Mapping and Workflow Design:
- Create process flow diagrams and workflow documentation to visualize system functionality and support development.
- Define key processes, including KPI assignment, review workflows, and bonus eligibility tracking, to help the team understand system interactions.
Testing and Validation:
- Collaborate with the QA team to validate that developed features meet the requirements, conducting user acceptance testing (UAT) with end-users.
- Document any issues identified during testing and work with developers to implement improvements.
Stakeholder Communication:
- Maintain clear and regular communication with stakeholders, ensuring that they are informed on project progress, requirements changes, and testing outcomes.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders throughout the project to clarify requirements and gather feedback.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of business analysis principles, including requirements gathering and process mapping.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex concepts into clear documentation.
- Familiarity with business analysis tools (e.g., Microsoft Excel, Visio, or Lucidchart) and project management software (e.g., JIRA).
- Highly organized with attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and proactively engage with stakeholders and team members.
- A collaborative, problem-solving attitude with a focus on delivering value.
- Exposure to software development lifecycles (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
- Experience creating user stories, acceptance criteria, and test cases.
