About Position
Join our IT team as a Junior Service Desk Staff member and be at the heart of our technology operations. In this exciting entry-level role, you'll work closely with our experienced IT engineer, gaining hands-on experience and valuable skills. You'll manage IT assets, provide first-line support to end-users, and help ensure the smooth execution of company events. This position offers a fantastic opportunity to learn and grow within a supportive team environment while making a real impact on our IT operations. - Software and Hardware (Asset) Management
- Oversee the full lifecycle of IT assets, including procurement, onboarding, management, usage analysis, renewal, and retirement of assets when they are no longer needed
- Ensure all processes are followed in accordance with IT policies and stakeholder requirements, including coordination with Finance, HR, Legal, and other departments
- End-User Support (Level 1)
- Serve as the first point of contact for end-user requests, responding promptly and resolving issues within your scope of knowledge
- Escalate more complex issues to higher-level support (Level 2, 3) as necessary, ensuring a smooth handoff and timely resolution
- Guidelines Documentation
- Develop and maintain clear, concise documentation for all tools under IT management
- Ensure guidelines are accessible and easy to understand for both employees and IT/Security staff, promoting proper usage and best practices
- Company Event Support
- Provide IT support for company events, both internal and external, held at the office or other venues
- Set up and manage IT equipment to ensure smooth execution of events, addressing any technical issues that may arise
Requirements
- Have experience in a Service Desk or technical support environment
- Basic knowledge of IT hardware and software management
- Experience in administrative roles for common cloud-driven technologies, including cloud-based applications (SaaS), project management tools, collaboration platforms, and productivity suites
- Familiarity with working on Windows, macOS, or Linux-based distributions
- Must be able to demonstrate a customer-first approach to support
- Good at English in communication skills including oral and written
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
- Problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to issue resolution
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic work environment with open-minded, eager to learn and grow
- Flexible and willing to work outside core business hours as required
