As a Kafka Developer, you will join our Software Engineering service line, where we are engineering scalable, innovative software solutions that empower and redefine industries.
What is your role
You will be part of a journey where you will have two impacts: a client impact and an internal impact. For the internal impact, based on your skills and time,you will be joining our internal community at CBTW, to share knowledge and best practices.For the client impact, taskscan vary depending on the client and the project, but as a Kafka Developer, you will mainly:
- Design and develop applications using Kafka and Confluent portals.
- Collaborate with administrators to manage Kafka infrastructure.
- Develop data streaming solutions for real-time processing.
- Setup and configure new Confluent Kafka platforms.
- Upgrade and maintain existing Kafka platforms.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize Kafka performance.
What is your profile
You:
- Proficiency in any of the programming language like Java, Python, Node, etc
- A solid understanding of Kafka's core concepts, including topics, partitions, producers, consumers, offsets, and replication.
- Proficiency in using Kafka's APIs (Producer API, Consumer API, Admin API) and client libraries (Kafka Streams, Kafka Connect)
- Experience in managing Kafka clusters, including configuration, performance tuning, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of Kafka's security features like SSL/TLS, SASL/SCRAM, and ACLs.
- Familiarity with Kafka Streams for real-time data processing and stream processing applications.
- Experience with Kafka Connect for integrating Kafka with other systems and data sources.
- Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP
- The ability to identify and resolve complex technical issues.
- Strong analytical skills to analyze data and identify patterns.
- Kafka certifications as an added advantage
