Our client, a Hong Kong-based garment manufacturer operating in Vietnam, is looking for an experienced Legal Officer to join their team in Thai Binh. This vital role involves overseeing the company's legal functions, managing compliance, building relationships with government bodies, and supporting strategic legal matters. Key Responsibilities:
- Review contracts and documents on legal impact
- Manage certifications and licenses
- Handle relations with government departments
- Support in licensing works/ coordinate with outsourced firms.
- Support in dispute settlement/ negotiations
- Give accurate and timely advice on a variety of legal topics.
- Comply with internal policies and procedures from time to time
- Maintain records and update company information and legal representative change/ POA.
- Risk management and provide timely warnings/ solutions.
- Represent the department as required in liaison with the business units/ external parties.
- Stay flexible for any unlisted works related
Key Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Law.
- Experience: 5-10 years in a legal role; experience in the Garment, Fabric, Textile, or Manufacturing industries is a plus.
- Skills: Strong communication and presentation abilities; confident and independent in risk analysis.
- Licenses: Must hold a valid car driving license.
- Language Proficiency: Fluency in English; proficiency in Vietnamese is a must
