Overview
Under the supervision and guidance of Group FP&A Director, this position is responsible for management and implementation of financial policies, programs, and undertakings of NLCP under the overall strategic direction. Construct and develop short, medium financial strategies to ensure the effectiveness of capital for business and investment activities, profit maximization, preserving and growing capital for NLCP.
Direct report to Group FP&A Director regarding the management of budget, forecast and planning. Generating reports & analysis to assist NLCP in decision making. Managing banking relationships if needed.
Responsibility
Overall financial performance of NLCP and entities under NLCP
- Manage to achieve short and long-term financial goals for NLCP based on business plan of NLG.
- Monitor financial performance of NLCP including business planning, cash flow management, controlling revenues and profit of NLCP as a whole and subsidiaries under NLCP.
- Control and tracking the cash flows of on-going projects based on its feasibility studies (FS).
- Help FP&A Director in computing optimal capital structure and NLCP business portfolio.
- Participate to evaluate the financial variability of business investment projects of NLCP.
- Review financial efficiency of investments of NLCP.
- Ensure continuous improvement of financial management process.
- Create management reports as required.
- Perform basic analysis to assess company standing vs. business sector and development trends of product lines to propose measures to enhance operational efficiency in expanding market share.
Subsidiaries performance management
- Control the performance of entities under NLCP. This includes business planning, profit and loss accounts, cash flows and capital resources of these entities.
- Provide effective and efficient fact-based financial information, evaluation, and overall performance of entities under NLCP.
- Manage financial budgeting and forecasting process for entities under NLCP.
- Monitor, manage, analyze, forecast, and balance cash flow to ensure adequacy of fund for entities under NLCP.
- Oversee and ensure integrity and robustness of financial review and performance management process for NLCP.
Budget & control
- Control budget and cash flow of the projects based on the approved annual plan at NLCP.
- Control annual budget and implementation cost to ensure cost effectiveness of the company.
- Develop an annual personnel plan to meet the business targets/goals in order to come up with the proper operation budget.
Manage relationship with stakeholders
- Manage relationships with business partners, banks, financial institutions, credit institutions, governments, state authorities (tax, audit), ect.
- Maintain and develop friendly relations with strategic partners, audit, and consulting companies.
Required skills and behaviors:
Background / Experience
- Bachelor's degree of Finance/Accounting/Economics.
- 8-10 years in finance, accounting and auditing field. Background from Big 4 is preferable
- At least 1 year in position of finance manager or equivalent in real estate industry
- English literacy
