Job Description

Manager, Lending Product Management is responsible for the product management of consumer

banking business with the aim of developing and managing the bank's total product portfolio of

consumer banking Unsecured Lending product suites.

Strategy and Planning:

Managing operational product management agenda: Lending of Consumer Banking

including: product planning and designing, product execution, product performance

management, product grandfathering.

Participating in the product strategy forming with Product head for the areas of products in

charge, define features, pricings and offers of the consumer banking products under the

bank's new digital banking approach.

Develop and maintain the framework to measure and monitor product portfolio

performance.

Product and Business Performance

Establishment and management of key personnas for Digital Banking products in the

Digital Attacker project.

Provide quality, written content of product requirement documentation and materials

Be responsible for product pricing, margin, and undertake the financial models for the 5-

year and annual budgets and P&Ls of Lending products that is in charge.

Monitor and actively manage the overall product portfolio, including liaising with Risk team

to manage product exposure, risk indicator, and implement risk policy enhancement

Liaising with Partnership Product team in planning, budgeting and executing the launching,

marketing and distribution of consumer banking product suite.

Work with Digital Delivery and Technology to design product flow, develop product core

system, managing the end-to-end testing/ UAT of core system upon product feature

launching

Coordinate with Operations to design and be responsible for end-to-end operation

processes of each product in the product suite focusing on seamless and frictionless user

journey and best possible user experience.

Establishing the product report framework including regular product performance reports

and descriptive, predictive and prescriptive analytic reports for each product in the suite

and overall product portfolio.

Work with relevant departments to design and oversee delivery of product training

Teamwork

Responsible as a team member to support Product Head for building a best digital bank products embedding conventional banking product soundly onto digital platform.

Participating to build and maintain a work environment for the Product Management team that drives results and positively energise and challenges team member for high performance culture

Work closely with Technology and Digital Delivery team, Risk and Compliance as appropriate to enact product systems and process set up/ continuous enhancement

Cultivate an environment that supports diversity and reflect CIMB brand and culture.

Regulatory Compliance

Responsible for the compliance and regulatory aspect of each product in the suite and portfolio in charge.

Requirements:

Banking / Finance / Business degree and equivalent functional experience

3-5 years experience in consumer banking or retail banking product management in a well established foreign bank or local joint stock bank or consumer finance company
