The Role
Reporting to the Regional President ASEAN, this incumbent's role is to grow our existing presence in the Vietnam market by developing the business and people strategies, and its brand positioning for long-term sustainable growth.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities
- Collaborate with the Board to define and articulate the organization's vision and to develop strategies for achieving that vision
- Accountable for revenue and EBIT generated by the Vietnam office through growth of existing business and identification of new opportunities.
- Develop and implement local business strategies across all channels to maximise revenue opportunities for sustainable value creation.
- Accountable for the subsidiary's budget and forecasts.
- Build collaborative and close working relationships with key second level managers and internal stakeholders in the region and headquarters to ensure the success of the business strategy.
- Promote a culture that reflects the organization's culture and shared values, encourages good performance and reward productivity
- Develop future leadership and succession planning within the organization
- Coach and mentor teams, ensuring their continuous professional development.
- Provide guidance and support to the team, in particular during new business activity and senior level client engagements.
- Lead and motivate teams across all functions within the subsidiary. Evaluate the organization's and the staff's performance on a regular basis
- Oversee the operations of the organization and manage its compliance with legal and regulatory requirements
Experience and key competencies
The successful candidate will have:
- Proven experience within the industry or have sound understanding of products and services channels in the market.
- Ability to understand the strategic needs of the market, anticipate changing trends and respond to opportunities and threats.
- Minimum 10 years experience work experience with proven leadership responsibilities who welcomes diverse perspectives and encourages openness and empowered his/her employees through constructive dialogue.
- Be able to lead with a compelling sense of common purpose to drive the company's business and people strategies.
- Be Self-aware with the ability to collaborate across all levels in the organization
