THE ROLE
The Marketplace Marketing Specialist will be responsible for driving user acquisition through a mix of digital and guerrilla marketing strategies. This role is ideal for someone with a robust growth hacking mindset and extensive experience in digital advertising and email marketing. The supervisor will play a crucial role in setting up and optimizing marketing campaigns to ensure a successful launch and sustained growth post-launch.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Marketing Strategy Development:
- Strategic Planning: Develop and implement comprehensive marketing and growth strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Market Research: Conduct market research to identify target audiences, market trends, and competitive landscape.
- Brand Development: Define and enhance the company's brand positioning and messaging to build a strong market presence.
2. Customer Acquisition:
- Digital Marketing: Lead digital marketing efforts, including SEO/SEM, PPC, social media marketing, email marketing, and content marketing to drive traffic and conversions.
- Lead Generation: Develop and execute lead generation campaigns to attract corporate clients.
- Partnerships: Identify and establish strategic partnerships to expand market reach and drive customer acquisition.
3. Customer Engagement and Retention:
- Content Strategy: Create and manage a content strategy that engages and educates target audiences through blogs, whitepapers, case studies, and more.
- Email Campaigns: Design and implement email marketing campaigns to nurture leads and retain existing customers.
- Customer Loyalty Programs: Develop and manage customer loyalty programs to increase retention and lifetime value.
4. Analytics and Performance Tracking:
- KPIs and Metrics: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and initiatives.
- Data Analysis: Use data and analytics to track performance, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
- Reporting: Prepare regular reports and presentations on marketing performance for the leadership team.
5. Team Leadership and Collaboration:
- Team Management: Lead and mentor the marketing team, fostering a culture of creativity and excellence.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with the sales, product, and customer success teams to ensure alignment and collaboration on growth initiatives.
- Budget Management: Manage the marketing budget effectively to maximize ROI on marketing spend.
