Job Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented Master Data Management Specialist to oversee the organization, quality, and integrity of our master data. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating and implementing master data management, ensuring data harmonization/ consistency across the organization, and supporting various business functions with accurate, reliable and complete master data.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Data Governance:
- Develop and enforce data governance policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data management roles and responsibilities.
2. Data Quality Management:
- Develop, monitor and maintain data quality rules, standards and practices.
- Identify and resolve data quality issues and inconsistencies.
3. Data Integration:
- Coordinate data integration activities between different systems and applications.
- Ensure seamless data flow and consistency across platforms.
4. Master Data Creation and Maintenance:
- Establish processes for the creation, maintenance, and retirement of master data records.
- Work with stakeholders to define data requirements and data models.
5. Reporting and Analysis:
- Analyze / Audit and generate reports on data accuracy, consistency, completeness (i.e. quality) and usage to track progress and performance.
- Analyze data trends to provide insights to stakeholders.
6. Training and Support:
- Educate staff on master data management best practices and system usage.
- Provide ongoing support and guidance regarding master data initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Data Science, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in Master Data Management, Data Governance, or related field.
- Strong understanding of data management principles and practices.
- Experience in data quality management and data integration.
- Proficient in MS Office and fluent in English.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., Bravo,) and data management tools.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with various teams.
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of supply chain, manufacturing, retail, F&B or FMCG industry verticals.
- Project management experience in master data management initiatives.
