Job Summary
Responsible for material planning, supplier capability management in order to secure material
for production running and optimize inventory level
Key Responsibilities
- Release purchasing orders to suppliers based on Lead time, MOQ/MPQ, system demand by weekly.
- Work out supplier delivery schedule and monitor suppliers delivery on time. In order to make sure no material shortage in production line.
- Control suppliers manufacturing lead time, processes, capacity, raw materials and identify the risk and solution in advance.
- Control inventory: Maintain proper inventory level and minimum the excess material if any order cancellation.
- Report for Excess&Obsolete(E&O) material by monthly with proposal action. Work with cross functional team for action to clear the E&O
- Control engineer change order(ECO) to cut off old stock and ram up new item
- Result the issue with vendor for shortage/missing/expedition
- To confirm the schedule follow customer request (new order(MR)/Pull-push/Cancel/Swap POs)
- Analyze the material expedition option and propose solutions
Person Specifications
- University graduated.
- At least 2 years relevant PMC experience with good knowledge of Purchase and material control.
- Good level written and spoken English is an advantage.
- Good communication, listening and interpersonal skills
- Fully understand MRP system, Oracle, VBA knowledge and Purchase flow.
- Work in electrical industry is an advantage
- Able to work effectively. Good leadership and computer skill is preferential
Impact of the position
- Raw materials delivery on time will support production run smoothly. Moreover , Will not caused any additional cost for production line shut down and shipment .But all related resource (like as SER, Approved drawing , Supplier's relationship etc.) depend on all departments support .
- Low inventory level makes company financing running smoothly. But it is also depending on the good design and quality for our products reasonable order change./.
