Mid/Senior QA tester

Key Responsibilities:

Quality Control and Assurance:

Conduct thorough testing of commerce products to identify and resolve defects.

Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts.

Ensure all product releases meet the highest quality standards.

Test Management:

Manage the entire testing lifecycle, from planning to execution and reporting.

Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of quality processes.

Utilize automated testing tools to enhance efficiency and coverage.

Defect Management:

Identify, document, and track defects using issue-tracking tools (e.g., Jira).

Collaborate with development teams to prioritize and resolve defects.

Perform regression testing to verify defect fixes and ensure no new issues are introduced.

Process Improvement:

Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies.

Implement best practices for quality control and assurance.

Provide training and mentorship to junior QC team members.

Reporting and Documentation:

Generate detailed test reports and quality metrics.

Maintain comprehensive documentation of test cases, test results, and quality standards.

Communicate quality issues and status updates to stakeholders.

Requirements:

Education:

A degree in an IT background.

Experience:

Minimum of 3 years of experience in quality control and assurance.

Experience with commerce products is highly preferred.

Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and best practices.

Skills:

Proficiency in using test management and defect tracking tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail).

Knowledge of automated testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium).

Experience with SQL.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Effective communication and collaboration skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Open mindset and willingness to learn.

Additional Requirements:

Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies.

Experience with automated testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Javascript, Selenium) is a plus.

Certification in Quality Assurance (e.g., ISTQB) is a plus.
