Job Description

The key responsibility is to oversee the account planning, business development and revenue uplift for the MME. This role also requires managing, collaborating and partnering with key stakeholders of major line of business in the key home markets of Malaysia, Singapore and Indonesia.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure strategic objectives formalized at the M25+ Steering Committee, SP 8 International and Vietnam Leadership Council Executive Management level are translated into tactical business plans with mechanisms for key measurements in place to monitor progress.
  • Develop and execute strategic business plans to capture the North Asia markets in Vietnam, including market entry strategies, partnership opportunities and growth targets.
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with key stakeholders within the North Asia market, including partners, clients, regulators, and industry influencers.
  • Identify and pursue new income growth and pursue new business opportunities, negotiate contracts, and close deals to increase the North Asia revenue and market share.
  • Maintain strong relationships with MME clients operating in Vietnam whilst actively seeking opportunities to acquire new customers.
  • Managing and tracking income uplift, budgets, forecast to ensure profitability in the MME
  • Conducting customer assessment to incorporate feedback to improve our Maybank Vietnam offerings, products, services, and market strategies.
  • Responsible for contributing to strategic planning and champion a culture of innovation in SP8 with a customer centric and transformation mindset
  • Identifying and evaluating direct and indirect competitive landscape, client pain points and evolving workflow needs to maximize efficiencies whilst reducing risk and cost
  • Contribute to the development of Vietnam revenue uplift for the next 2-3 years by providing a view on potential improvements for products or services and an assessment of the existing situation and anticipated changes in the external environment
  • Review performance against balanced scorecard components as prescribed by the Vietnam Leadership Council, discuss gaps and agree on action plans to close gaps

Qualification

  • Fluent in English with relevant degree or master in Business, Economics, Accounting or related disciplines
  • Must have at least 5 years of in-depth broad base working experience in MME with extensive familiar with international business protocols and cross cultural practices
  • Must have strategic planning and Sales experience and basic knowledge of IT, platforms and systems that is commonly offer to clients
  • Strategic, logical and clear in thought, with sharp business acumen; articulate and able to communicate key messages effectively
  • Effective stakeholders management skills with experience working in cross functional teams; building and managing a highly motivated and enthusiastic team
