1. Position Overview
The MT (Modern Trade) Manager is responsible for developing and managing the Modern Trade channel, ensuring sales targets are met, maintaining strong relationships with key accounts, and driving sustainable growth for the Perfetta and Pinnakle product lines in supermarkets, hypermarkets, and other modern retail chains.
2. Key Responsibilities
Strategic Planning and Execution:
- Develop and implement business strategies and plans to achieve sales targets for the Modern Trade channel.
- Monitor sales performance and adjust strategies as needed to meet objectives.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to execute promotional campaigns and trade marketing activities.
Account Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, including supermarkets, hypermarkets, and retail chains.
- Negotiate trading terms, pricing, and promotions to maximize product visibility and profitability.
- Resolve operational issues with clients and ensure customer satisfaction.
Team Leadership and Collaboration:
- Lead, train, and motivate the Modern Trade sales team to achieve individual and team targets.
- Collaborate with the Supply Chain team to ensure product availability and timely delivery to key accounts.
- Work with the Marketing team to plan and execute in-store promotions and product launches.
Market Analysis and Reporting:
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to identify opportunities and threats.
- Prepare and present periodic sales reports, forecasts, and insights to the management team.
3. Qualifications and Requirements
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related fields.
Experience:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in sales, with at least 3 years in managing Modern Trade channels.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing relationships with key accounts.
Skills:
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Leadership and team management capabilities.
- Analytical and strategic thinking to identify and capitalize on market opportunities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and CRM systems.
- Fluent in Vietnamese; English proficiency is a plus.
Other Requirements:
- Willingness to travel as needed.
- Knowledge of FMCG and healthcare products is an advantage.
