Role Description
We are seeking a full-time Operations/Booking Staff for our branch in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. This on-site role involves coordinating logistics operations, managing bookings, and handling communications with clients and partners. Fluency in Chinese and English is required.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage bookings for sea, rail, and air freight, ensuring timely and accurate fulfillment of client requests.
- Communicate effectively with clients, suppliers, and shipping lines to confirm bookings and resolve any issues.
- Prepare and process documentation such as bills of lading, shipping instructions, and customs declarations.
- Keep clients informed of shipment statuses and promptly address any concerns.
- Maintain accurate booking records and support in generating internal reports.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Transportation, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in freight forwarding or logistics.
- Fluency in Chinese and English, both written and spoken.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently.
- High attention to detail and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and logistics software.
- Solid understanding of customs regulations, Incoterms, and international trade processes.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Strong customer service skills with proven client relationship management.
