The role is to develop, maintain and implement the PVA internal regulation's governance risk management and assurance frameworks.

Key job responsibilities assigned to this position are:

Policy Governance scopes:

  • Organize and monitor the changes of PVA's governance policy, set of Prudential Group's policy & standard, Local regulations relate to operate the insurance business.

  • Analyze, identify the potential risks which may incur due to the gap between PVA's internal regulation/ practice with set of Prudential Group's policy & standard or Local regulations via deepdive, appetite testing.

  • Serve as an in-house advisor regarding risk management policies, regulatory regimes to ensure alignment of PVA's operation with Group and local regulations. Provide content and prepare advice on risk and governance issues and information as required.

  • Perform risk management tasks to ensure the compliance with Group Risk Framework, which focus on the governance management as required.

  • Develop corresponding communication requirements for new and updated policy documents and work with communication partners in developing communication plans.

  • Develop and implement training programs which support to implement policies in PVA and transfer the knowledge of risk management policies.

Enterprise & Operational Management scopes - 2LOD's governance & internal control framework activities:

  • Participate and perform operational deep dives, quick scanning tests as requested, which include verifying relevant documents, analyzing data/ information and drafting report to provide risk assessment on aspect of Group/ local policy compliance.

  • Advise 1LOD in the business process improvement requests or self-audit questionnaires for proactive risk management purpose.

  • Perfom the preparation of required reports (Business control report, SOX, ORSA, ..).

  • Coordinate with other departments/ units to facilitate the PVA risk management tasks and responsibilities, as and when needed. E.g. Support complaint handling, prepare PVA Risk Committee meeting materials.

Others:

  • Support the Risk culture programs to enhance the 1LOD's the capability of policy governance and risk management.

- Proactively look for better ways to improve the effectiveness of the risk management activities
- Other tasks to be assigned by the Line manager or Company's management (if any).
