Job Summary

In the process engineer role, you will design, develop, and configure the company's industrial process improvement initiatives. You will maintain safety standards and ensure that optimization projects are carried out to meet the required specifications. Success in this role will be demonstrated by your ability to increase efficiency while lowering costs and shortening lead times.

Main Duties & Responsibilities

* The Program/ Project Engineer is expected to

  • Project management (APQP/ PPAP)
  • Prepare, form schedule, coordinate, and monitor all assigned projects
  • Monitor compliance in all areas
  • Review Design for Manufacturing / Assembly (DFM/DFA)
  • Communicate effectively during daily interactions with sales, the clients and users to interpret their needs and requirements
  • Represent clients and users in the field
  • Maintain quality control in every area (budget, scheduling, planning, personnel performance, team dynamics)
  • Clearly report on project status
  • Delegate effectively to team; cross functional team
  • Communicate effectively with project manager and other project participants to provide needed assistance and technical support
  • Review engineering deliverables; initiate appropriate corrective actions throughout the project lifecycle
  • Maintain KPIs with targets

*The Process Engineer is expected to

  • Managing customers assigned as job assignment appendix
  • Research, design, and develop processes to optimize productivity and workflow of manufacturing processes from inception through to mass production and end of life
  • Analyze and evaluate processes (including new & existing
  • Perform risk assessments
  • Perform process simulations
  • Design of experiments, run, test to evaluate systems and processes
  • Oversee operations and maintenance of manufacturing processes
  • Determine the organization and setup of process operations
  • Oversee implementation of new processes and procedures
  • Investigate and troubleshoot any problems that arise with processes, procedures, and operations
  • Develop best practices, routines and innovative solutions to improve production rates and quality of output
  • Manage cost and time constraints of production product
  • Packaging and package labeling design and development and other necessities items as requirements
  • Provide process documentation and operating instructions
  • Facility layout and design, re-layout
  • Product and process layout and design
  • Maintain KPIs with targets
  • Other process requirements are not listed above

Qualifications

  • Degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering or equivalent experience
  • 1 - 3 years of experience as a project coordinator, project engineer, manufacturing or production with similar roles
  • Strong experience in Auto Cad and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Familiarity with rules, regulations, best practices and performance standards.
