The Costing Manager will lead the southeast Asia costing team and play a critical role in our product costing, analysis, modeling, and reporting. They will work closely with both internal cross-functional teams and manufacturing partners as a key stakeholder in the product creation process. They will analyze and establish style family and product cost forecasting model to ensure profitability, transparency, and predictability.
What You'll Do:
- Contribute to long term margin planning and FOB forecasting for each key project strategies (Inline, Value Channel, SMU).
- Ensure all relevant costing systems are maintained, partnering with relevant stakeholders.
- Evolve seasonal cost reporting process to help support margin and business planning. Lead efforts for automate where possible.
- Manage team members by providing clear goals and creating a motivational and supportive work environment in which employees are coached, trained, and provided with career opportunities through development.
- Effectively manage and coordinate activities related to the Product Pricing or Seasonal Pricing process to ensure that incoming quote finish goods price and CBD are being analyzed and managed for timeliness, completeness, and competitiveness.
- Demonstrate leadership skills that provide both our internal & external team an unparallel level of service and costing solutions.
- Actively promote best practices across the costing organization
- Influence sourcing decisions, by creating transparency of landed cost optimization to ensure the best possible outcome.
- Offer new, innovative, and entrepreneurial ideas and suggestions for improvement. Identify and implement new practices and processes that are best in field.
- Demonstrate a commitment to improve service; anticipate, meet, and exceed expectations by solving problems quickly and effectively.
- Ensure the efficient and timely exchange of knowledge and information within the JR286 internal team.
- Ensure all sensitive and confidential information is handled appropriately.
- Comply and follow all procedures within the company security policy.
- May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
What to Bring:
- Bachelor's degree or higher-level education preferred. 10+ years of experience in manufacture industry and at least 10 years of costing experience
- Proven track record of successful change management accomplishments, implementing and management continuous productivity and cost reduction programs
- Knowledgeable in sporting goods product development, production processes, and best practices is a plus
- Highly developed analytical strengths; a keen ability for identifying and solving problems with logic mindset
- Ability to adapt and evolve on continuously changing environment
- Proficiency in use of Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
- Experience with PowerBI and Data Visualization is a plus
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, and negotiation skills
- Fluency in English and Vietnamese
