Product Design Lead (Web3)

Job Overview:
As a Product Design Lead, you will be responsible for driving end-to-end design initiatives for a self-custodial crypto exchange. You'll lead design projects, ensuring that every product delivers pixel-perfect designs optimized for iOS, Android, web, and mobile web platforms. Your expertise in creating and maintaining design systems will play a key role in keeping the product consistent and accessible across all platforms.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and execute medium-to-large scale design projects from ideation to production.
- Design pixel-perfect solutions for various platforms including iOS, Android, web, and mobile web.
- Develop, maintain, and optimize reusable design templates aligned with the design language system (DLS).
- Produce detailed spec documentation and redlines for product implementation.
- Review and QA design assets, ensuring accuracy and alignment with brand standards.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, product, QA, and research teams to maintain design consistency.
- Contribute to the evolution of the DLS, creating new components and icons.
- Document design workflows and processes, ensuring continuous improvement in design documentation.
- Conduct design research to understand user needs and behaviors.
Requirements:
Must-Have:
- Minimum 6 years of experience in product design, with at least 3 years in a lead role managing cross-platform projects.
- Proven experience in designing Web3 products.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a passion for pixel-perfect design.
- Strong knowledge of design systems, tokens, and variable structures.
- Advanced proficiency in Figma, including components, shared libraries, and branching.
- Experience in cross-functional collaboration with product, engineering, and QA teams.
- Self-motivated, solution-oriented, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in UI/UX design and building a product's UI/UX from the ground up.
- Fluent in English to communicate with global team.
Nice-to-Have:
- Familiarity with design tools like Sketch, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
- A keen interest in investing, finance, wallets, and Web3 innovation.
