Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with designers, clients, and cross-functional teams to understand product requirements, specifications, and design concepts.
- Ensure patterns and garment constructions meet technical and aesthetic requirements
- Source and select appropriate fabrics to match design specifications, ensuring both quality and cost-effectiveness.
- Review and refine product samples to ensure they meet design specifications, quality standards, and sustainability goals.
- Coordinate with production teams to ensure on-time sample development and delivery.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of fabric trends, construction techniques, and market demands in the fast fashion industry.
Requirements:
- 1-2 years of experience in a similar role
- Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design, Textile Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in product development for a wide range of fashion products (i.e. Knits, Woven, Denim, Activewear, etc.) is a strong plus.
- Comfortable sourcing materials locally and in small quantities.
- Strong knowledge of fabric and trim properties, manufacturing processes, and quality control standards.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Knowledge of sustainable and ethical fashion practices is a plus.
- Proficiency in relevant software tools and platforms.
