Roles & Responsibilities:As a Product Owner, you will play a pivotal role in driving product vision and ensuring delivery excellence. Your key responsibilities include:
- Roadmap Creation & Stakeholder Collaboration:
- Develop and maintain the product/component roadmap by collaborating with research, business, and engineering teams.
- Deliver impactful features aligned with the needs of target users.
- Customer Experience Ownership:
- Understand user interactions with the product and define user flows to enhance customer experience.
- Collaborate with UX designers to create intuitive and engaging interfaces.
- Agile Development Facilitation:
- Lead sprint planning sessions, incorporating engineering priorities and constraints.
- Define comprehensive business requirements and user stories with clear acceptance criteria.
- Backlog & Product Lifecycle Management:
- Own and prioritize the product/component backlog.
- Manage the entire product lifecycle from idea conception to release.
- Timelines & Quality:
- Ensure timely and high-quality deliverables from scrum teams.
- Maintain up-to-date software documentation for new features and enhancements.
Requirements:Must-Have Qualifications:- 23 years of experience as a Product Owner or Business Analyst, preferably in deep-tech products with Robotics or AI domain expertise.
- Proven track record of achievement in managing successful products.
- Strong understanding of business problems and the ability to create solutions that deliver measurable impact through KPIs/metrics.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, especially when working with technical teams.
- Fluent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Experience in product lifecycle management and Agile development (e.g., epics, user stories, backlog grooming).
- Exceptional interpersonal, relationship management, and organizational skills in cross-functional and international teams.
- Product mindset with an ability to prioritize features for MVP development.
Preferred Qualifications:- Experience in robotics, manufacturing, artificial intelligence, or developer APIs.
- BS/MS in a technical discipline (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, Math) or equivalent technical experience.
- Product Owner certification.
- Proficient in Japanese (JLPT N2 or higher).
- Background in B2B product development.
