The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting the project manager and project team with project documentation and control, job cost accounting, scheduling, and construction supervision efforts. In order to be successful, this candidate should feel comfortable taking on many tasks that require various skills, and appropriately prioritizing those tasks completion.
Responsibilities:
Participate in the analysis and evaluation of contractor selection:
- Participate in the preparation of bidding documents and organize the bidding process.
- Participate in the appraisal and analysis of contractor selection proposals.
- Participate in checking the quantities according to the approved design drawings compared to the contractor's quantity table.
- Participate in controlling the construction implementation process, acceptance, final settlement, and handover of the project to the beneficiary unit.
Participate in the acceptance of each part/item of the actual construction volume with the Construction Department and the contractor.
- Collect acceptance documents for quantities and approved values, comparing construction costs of the project items with the approved total estimate.
- Check the detailed payment documents of the project items to ensure that the incurred costs are reasonable, including: checking the contract performance quantities compared to the actual construction, design drawings, and acceptance records.
- Participate in checking invoices, documents, payment conditions, and construction items according to regulations.
Hand over documents to the authorized parties (subsidiary accountants, banks, auditors, tax authorities).
- Monitor the payment process and report on budget implementation.
Monitor and control payment proposals for contractors to ensure that the construction progress is not affected by the Construction Department.
- Monitor actual payment progress and contracts.
- Monitor the implementation of the approved budget estimates.
- Prepare detailed weekly payment plans for the Head of Department, Chief Accountant, and Head of Capital Department.
- Control data from the budget to the final settlement of completed projects.
- Prepare debt reconciliation documents with the contractor.
- Check, confirm, and complete the final settlement documents.
- Perform payment procedures, monitor, and report on budget implementation periodically (weekly, monthly, quarterly, annually) or as requested by the Head of Department.
- Perform other tasks of the Department as required by superiors.
- Perform other project tasks as necessary to ensure the progress and efficiency of the project.
Qualifications
- Education:University degree or higher.
- Experience:Fresher, graduated in majors such as Accounting, Auditing, Construction Economics, Civil Engineering, etc.
- Knowledge: Knowledge of operational control and accounting.
- Understanding of construction standards, ability to read drawings, and quantity takeoff skills.
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office for work.
- Conversational English is an advantage.
- Knowledge of using AutoCAD is an advantage.
- Negotiation skills.
Working hour: 8:00AM to 5:00PM (Monday to afternoon Saturday)
