JOB DESCRIPTION
Williams-Sonoma Vietnam is looking for talented candidates for a 2-month internship program from November 2024 with possible extension, working on our Bluebook Project. Bluebook is our global online manufacturing Product Documentation System. For this project we need interns to update data into our system.
Under the supervision of the Engineering Manager, our Interns will:
- Receive detailed training
- Enter approximately 3 - 4 product units per day by converting the Bill of Material (BOM) from vendor to our Bluebook system
- Upload related product documents into the system
- Collaborate with Merchandisers and Furniture Engineers to cross check data
- Follow up and report on Bluebook status with Furniture Engineering team
Following The Program The Interns Will Gain
- Knowledge of furniture products including home furnishing materials and finishing techniques
- Understanding of Engineering products
- Experience working in a corporate and operations business environment
- Teamwork, time management, planning and prioritization skills
- Gain valuable experience working in a cross-functional business in merchandising, engineering, QA and testing
Competencies & Experience Required
- Major: Woodworking / Mechanical engineering
- CAD: 2D/3D
- English: strong writing and reading skills
- Furniture background
- Ability to work well under pressure and within time constraints
- Attention to detail
- Organizational skills
Details About The Role
- Working location: 171 M/3, Street No. N6, KP2, An Phu Ward, Thuan An City, Binh Duong (near VSIP 1 Industrial Park, Thuan An)
- Working hours: from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, from Monday to Friday (flexible arrangement between students studies and work)
