Job Description
- Plan purchasing activities, adjust requirements to suit actual requirements
- Contact domestic and foreign suppliers, analyze prices to find reputable suppliers and the best prices
- Contact import/export/customs, perform paperwork and customs clearance procedures to conduct purchasing/importing goods from overseas
- Evaluate, update and maintain orders until completion
- Search and develop more quality suppliers for the company on a monthly/quarterly basis
- Closely monitor budgets by order/month/quarter/year (purchasing processes and costs)
- Support employees in negotiating and resolving problems with partners, departments, finding the best suppliers in terms of quality, price, payment terms, etc.
- Work with relevant departments when developing new products or improving existing products: R&D, Finance Main, Human Resources, Production, Engineering,
- Monitor work progress, periodically report work status to the General Director
- Make monthly/quarterly/yearly budget reports
- Other tasks assigned by superiors
Required requirements
Education: University degree or higher
Foreign language: English or Japanese - Business level
Experience: 3 - 5 years or more working in the field of purchasing, import and export for a manufacturing company, including 2 years or more experience in a management position
