1.BE engineer Python

We are a seed-stage venture capital-backed US start-up based out of Dallas. We are creating a platform for low-income families to find housing with assistance from the government and avoid homelessness. We are now in 10 US cities. We raised our seed round from VC firms and operators in the housing space last year. We expect to grow 5X revenue this year and plan to raise series-A towards the end of 2023. Our revenue growth is product based, with no significant budget allocated for marketing or sales. The Python Developer will join our development team and report to our CTO. Our hiring process is rigorous, requiring you to code on video for our team to watch.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinating with development teams to determine application requirements.
• Coordinating with front-end developers.
• Integrating user-facing elements using server-side logic.
• Writing effective and scalable Python codes.
• Debugging applications to ensure low latency and high availability.
• Testing and debugging applications.

Requirements:

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Proven work experience as a Back-end developer with Python
• Good knowledge Flask, FastAPI, or similar Python Frameworks
• Knowledge of ORM (Object Relational Mapper)
• Experience in writing re-usable unit test documents
• Skilled in the performance query plan, indexing, table partitioning
• Knowledge and experience with these types of databases: PostgreSQL, Firebase, Redis
• Experience with Git control, CI/CD, Linux server
• Ability to collaborate on projects and work independently when required.
• Ability to maintain Frontend (Angular) is a plus
