Job Purpose
This role is responsible for managing and supporting Agency Sales Team to develop, retain & grow sales in the assigned region.
Job Responsibilities
Strategic Planning and execution
- Work with Head of Agency Development to develop strategic business plan to achieve the medium-term goal in the assigned region
- Use the MAPA to analyze business data and strongly implement appropriate recruitment / business activities of the group or the assigned General Agency (s)
- Make & execute weekly, monthly, quarterly & annually business plan, training plan for the assigned region that aligned with strategy, direction of regions as well as company.
- Delegate tasks and/ or projects to suitable subordinate to achieve sales KPIs in assigned GA (s)
Sales supervision & management
- Effectively supervise the understanding and compliance with rules, regulations on Professional Ethics, Customer Complaints handling procedures, Customer privacy policies and other Company guidelines.
- Orient business management process to closely monitor business activities and market trends according to the quarterly/ yearly business plan
- Foresee issues to resolve and empower operation and handling requests in the assigned region
People Management & Development
- Develop & retain talents to ensure the business development in the assigned region
- Build succession plan as well as development plan for key roles in assigned region (Associate Business Development Director, Senior Business Development Manager) & directly provide coach & support for this group when necessary
- Coordinate with AD Development to improve current development roadmap for AD team
- Support people development program such as Business Development Trainee or Fresh BDM program to build next generations of sales management team
- Understand and fluently apply the leadership behavior in the interview & selection process to recruit new capable (Senior) Business Development Manager.
- Training and developing agent leaders, agent following the agent career roadmap in the assigned General agency (s).
- Conduct 1:1 meetings with the General Agency Director / Agent Leader to achieve sales target.
Relationships and Communications
- Build effective business relationships internally & externally (AD staffs, others department's staffs/ managers)
- Build solid relationship and influence GAD Partners to deliver Agency Strategy & KPIs
- Enhance effective communication internally & externally
- Manage conflict or communications crisis (if any) to ensure least impacts to business
GA Taskforce & Expansion
Planning
- Make plan to expand GA network in assigned region both by developing Agency Leaders, GAD to open new GA (organic) & approach other new potential candidates in the market to expand and develop the GA system (in-organic)
- Execute the plan for GA expand process, the training plan for new GA
Execution
- Be responsible to execute the GA Expansion following company's strategy in assigned region, including attracting, communicating to new GAD company directions, initiatives, contest, events & award program in compliance with company's guideline handle & solve enquiries from GAD
Supervision & Management
- Monitor and manage the daily sales and operation of new GA & have solution to support new GAD to achieve their target
- Develop all process that helps closely monitor sales/recruiting activities/events of GAD
Others
- To be assigned by the Line manager or Company's management (if any)

Build a capable Agency Sales team & have succession plan by leading & providing coaching/ training to develop ABDD/ SBDM
Develop and maintain strategic relationship with agency force (GAD, UM, BM...)
Manage any other project assigned by Head of Agency Sales/Chief of Agency Officer/Chief of Distribution Officer
Develop and implement GA/TO expansion plan according to company strategy and target for assigned region

Qualifications
- Bachelor or higher Degree preferably in Economics, Business Administration, Sales & Marketing, Insurance
- Having specific certificate or specialized training related to insurance is an advantage: LOMA, etc.
