This role is to support the Line Manager in carrying out the operations and achieving the objectives of Regulatory Affairs dept..Scope 1 Prudential and Regulatory Compliance Management
. Understand, follow and implement sufficiently the Group Compliance Standards.
. Understand and follow key laws and regulations on PVA's business and operations.
(Understand and comply with the laws and regulations related to the business activities and fields of Prudential Vietnam).
. Support Line Manager and Management in making compliance arrangements (such as regulatory changes management,
regular regulatory compliance review for business functions, compliance breach reporting, ) to assure the Company
compliance with regulatory requirements as well as Prudential policies and guidelines.
support and involve in the process of compliance risk management and control to ensure the achievement of regulatory compliance. Maintain and update Regulatory Affairs operating manuals to be in line with local and Group regulations. Scope 2 Compliance Approval and Advice Actively responsible for the compliance approval process for all new and revised product, including underlying investment funds, relevant sales, product disclosure and training materials to ensure duly compliant with regulatory and Prudential requirements and fair, honest and transparent presentation to customers.
. Provide advice to business functions on complying with relevant regulatory and Prudential requirements.
Scope 3 Training and Development
. Design and conduct necessary compliance training for the company to ensure sufficient awareness and effective adherence
to the company compliance policies and guidelines.
. Communicate to key stakeholders to raise awareness about Regulatory Affairs framework and policies.
. When needed, provide coaching and support to other colleagues to accomplish assigned tasks.
Scope 4 Regulatory Reporting and Liaison
The following scopes of works would be applied for such regulatory engagement activities: Inward Regulatory Correspondences,
Outward Regulatory Correspondences, and Regulatory Inspection/Review/Visit.
Including:
. Develop and maintain business function contacts as key stakeholders for providing information in response to regulatory
requests. Including the leadership of the functions in case escalation or decisions on responses are required.
(Develop and maintain key contacts in departments to provide information as required by regulatory agencies,
including guidance and support to departments in cases where they need to make decisions or escalate to a higher level to respond to regulatory agencies.
Scope 5 Reporting
(Reporting)
Support Line Manager and Management in preparing required reports including reports to Group Compliance and local
Regulators.
