2. RESPONSIBILITIES
We are looking for a passionate and experienced Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer with a strong focus on frontend development to join our dynamic engineering team. You will be spending more of your time working on frontend solutions while also contributing to backend development as needed. We are building an innovative talent acquisition and recruiting platform and your key role will be translating business requirements into robust, scalable, and efficient software solutions.
- Collaborate closely with the tech lead, engineering manager, and product team to plan, design, and implement new frontend features ensuring a seamless user experience
- Build and maintain robust frontend interfaces using React/RedwoodJS
- Ensure smooth integrations between the frontend and backend layers of the application, which are built on GraphQL and Golang
- Involved in all stages of the software development lifecycle, from initial idea generation to implementation, testing, deployment, and subsequent support
- Contribute to backend development as required, including the creation of effective APIs and well-functioning databases
- Proactively identify and suggest opportunities for process and product enhancements, with a dedication to clean and efficient engineering best practices
- Participate in code reviews to share your knowledge and promote learning
- Play a pivotal role in steering the technical direction of the project, using your expertise to influence key decisions
3. REQUIREMENT
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- 5+ years of software development experience, with a strong focus on frontend technologies
- Extensive experience with React/RedwoodJS required, familiarity with GraphQL and proven backend development skills are beneficial
- Strong problem-solving capabilities with excellent attention to detail.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills, capable of taking direction well from tech lead and engineering manager
- Experience with Agile methodologies, Scrum
- Familiarity with DevOps, CI/CD, and deployment processes
- Excellent commands of English
Nice-to-haves:
- Experience with GraphQL, and Golang.
- Experience with AI/ML development, specifically with Python.
- Proven ability to creatively solve complex technical issues, demonstrating a meticulous approach and excellent attention to detail.
- Knowledge of data privacy and security compliance, such as GDPR, SOC 1, and SOC 2.
- Familiarity with HR/recruiting industry or talent acquisition tools and systems.
- Experience with third-party integrations such as GCal, Outlook/0365, Teams/Slack chatbots, SSO compatibility, and bi-directional integration with HRIS (Workday) and market-leading ATS (e.g., Greenhouse).
