REMOTE SENIOR ACCOUNTANT

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department
• Handle week-end, month-end and year-end close processes
• Prepare and review financial statements and reports to ensure accuracy and compliance
• Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement
• Reconcile accounts, including bank statements, intercompany accounts, and balance sheets
• Maintain and update accounting software and systems
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings
• Assist in the creation and management of budgets, comparing actual performance to budgeted figures and providing explanations for variances
• Provide guidance and support to junior accounting staff
• Collaborate with other departments to support overall company goals and objectives

Qualifications / Experiences:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience, preferably in a senior role
• Proficiency in business professional English
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
• Experience with Acumatica, Gusto, Ramp, Sequoia, and PlateIQ is highly preferred
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and remotely with minimal supervision
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
