Residential Construction Renderer (fulltime Hybrid)

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Project Accountant to join our team for an outsource project. The Project Accountant will be responsible for managing and reporting financial information related to development projects. This role will work closely with the CFO to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, have a solid understanding of financial principles, and be able to work independently.

Responsibilities

Prepare and analyze financial reports for development projects

Monitor project expenses and ensure adherence to budget

Maintain project accounting records and ensure accuracy

Conduct financial analysis on development projects to identify trends and areas for improvement

Assist with the preparation of project proposals and financial models

Support the project team with any financial inquiries or requests

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field

CPA or CMA certification is preferred

Minimum of 3 years of experience in project accounting or financial analysis

Experience in the development/construction industry is a plus

Proficient in financial reporting and budgeting tools

Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

Ability to work collaboratively and independently

Strong attention to detail and accuracy

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Ability to meet tight deadlines and manage multiple priorities
