ROLE DESCRIPTION
This is a full-time on-site role for a Sales Engineer at New Ocean A.S in Ho Chi Minh City. The Sales Engineer will be responsible for:
- Customer Development: Maintain and expand relationships with existing customers, and identify and build relationships with potential new customers.
- Consulting and Solution Demonstration: Understand customer needs, coordinate with the technical team to provide solutions, and conduct solution demos based on customer requirements.
- Bidding and Quotation Preparation: Collaborate with relevant departments to complete bidding documents, technical solutions, and quotations as per customer requirements.
- Order Processing and Contract Management: Work with relevant departments to process orders from receipt to final acceptance.
- Customer Care: Maintain and strengthen good relationships with existing customers. Regularly communicate, gather, and evaluate customer feedback, and handle complaints when necessary.
- Market Analysis: Collect market information, analyze competitors, and explore new technologies through collaboration with domestic and international partners.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Education: Graduate from College/University in relevant fields such as Mechanical Engineering, Electrical-Electronics, Automation, Business Administration, or other related disciplines.
- Knowledge/Experience: Knowledge and experience in automation (EMS, MES, SCADA, PLC, Vision, etc.) is an advantage.
- Experience minimum 2-3 years in business/sales; experience in the automation industry is a plus.
Abilities/Skills:
- Proficient in computer skills: Microsoft and Internet.
- Fluent in English or one of the following foreign languages: Korean, Japanese, or Chinese.
- Proactive in work, with the ability to quickly update and grasp technological products.
- Strong presentation, negotiation, communication, problem-solving, organizational, time management, and multitasking skills.
- Willing to travel for work both domestically and internationally.
