Our client, a top reservation service company, is looking for a top-notch candidate to join their firm
Hotel Business and Sales Strategies and Targets
- Understand hotel business strategies, create goals, and develop action plans to achieve them.
- Executes all sales action plans linked to market areas to accomplish sales targets, including but not limited to daily sales calls and site inspection trips.
- Responsible for individual and team's weekly, monthly, and annual sales targets and budgets.
- Managed accounts for the hotel's various categories, including TA, OTA, and Corporate Sales.
- Address consumer issues and inquiries about the sales process or services.
- Collaborate closely with the Hotel Manager/General Manager/General Director/Managing Director to ensure that proposed rate negotiations suit the financial demands of the hotels.
Business Development and Market Research
- Conduct market research and stay current on industry trends and best practices.
- Find new markets and business prospects, and boost revenue.
- Develop and maintain proactive relationships with potential and current accounts through regular sales calls and/or in-house entertainment or appreciation events.
- Implement an action plan to achieve the target of room nights, revenue, and new account acquisition.
- Pre-qualify and target key accounts within assigned territory or area.
- Develop appropriate and effective sales solicitation strategies.
- Closely collaborate with the marketing team to create, organize, and carry out promotional initiatives.
Sales Operations
- Capable of offering prompt and efficient service, liaison with properties right away, and cultivating expert, enduring business connections.
- Consistently offer the client the best possible service.
- Verify that all sales agreements adhere to the set hotel standards and are founded on good business judgment.
- Ensure that all credit and collection policies are set up and adhered to strictly
- Guarantee that all inquiries are answered in a timely manner
- Submit weekly sales activities and monthly sales report
- Attend departmental and hotel meetings as required.
Collaboration and Group Leadership
- Determine what more training is needed based on information obtained and conversations with the sales team during property visits.
- Serve as an inspiration to the front office staff by sharing your knowledge and helping subordinates develop into productive teams.
Requirements
Education
- Bachelor's degree in business administration or hotel administration, or an equivalent higher education credential.
Experience
- Proven track record of at least five years in the hospitality industry, at least three of those years spent in a sales capacity

- Interpersonal, negotiating, presentation, and communication skills.
- Positivity, effective communication, and the capacity to maintain composure under duress
