Job Description: Sales Manager
I. Responsibilities
1. Sales Management
- Lead and inspire the sales team to achieve growth and surpass sales targets.
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans aimed at expanding the company's customer base and strengthening its market presence.
- Prepare and present detailed sales, revenue, and expense reports, along with realistic forecasts, to the management team.
- Provide management with comprehensive reports on customer needs, challenges, interests, competitive activities, and potential opportunities for new products and services.
- Identify emerging markets and market trends, maintaining a thorough understanding of new products and competition.
- Ensure proper registration with building management to facilitate smooth store operations.
2. Inventory Management
- Maintain optimal inventory levels and ensure proper stocking in accordance with purchasing plans.
- Guarantee that all products are displayed and stored appropriately.
3. Employee Management
- Establish clear objectives, provide coaching, and monitor employee performance to cultivate a highly productive team.
- Implement cross-training programs to ensure continuous productivity and operational efficiency.
- Develop and manage employee schedules and promotional activities, particularly during holiday sales and other peak periods.
- Supervise, train, and assist employees in adherence to company regulations, exceptional customer service, store maintenance, and effective product promotions.
- Monitor employee performance metrics to accurately calculate bonuses and allowances.
- Foster a motivational and cohesive work environment to encourage team collaboration and engagement.
II. Job Requirements
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a similar role.
- At least 1 year of experience in the niche perfume industry.
- Exceptional communication and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in English (French is preferred).
III. Hours of Work
- 48 hours per week, with 1 day off; shift work schedule.
- Occasional overtime may be required upon request.
