Job Summary:
We are seeking a proactive and experienced Sales Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the textile industry, with a proven track record of managing supplier relationships, coordinating sample development, and presenting products to customers. This role requires excellent communication skills, strategic thinking, and the ability to work independently while leading a small team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supplier Engagement: Contact in-house factories and external suppliers to obtain accurate quotations for products and services, ensuring competitive pricing and terms.
- Costing Management: Develop and maintain detailed costing sheets, including cost, minimum order quantities (MOQ), sample lead times, and any applicable mold charges to prepare comprehensive quotations.
- Sample Development Coordination: Facilitate the development of samples after receiving customer confirmation on quotations (selling price, lead time, etc.), ensuring alignment with customer specifications.
- Submission Preparation: Prepare sample submission cards and manage the submission process to customers for approval.
- Communication Follow-Up: Actively follow up on comments and feedback between customers and factories to secure timely approvals and facilitate necessary adjustments.
- Order Management: Receive and verify purchase orders (POs) for accuracy, then distribute relevant details to Bulk Order Coordinators for production planning.
- Customer Meetings: Handle product presentations and conduct meetings with customers to showcase products and address inquiries.
- Marketing Materials: Prepare marketing materials and sample books for customer meetings and exhibitions to effectively promote products.
- Travel and Independence: Be willing to travel independently for customer meetings and exhibitions, demonstrating self-sufficiency in managing tasks on the road.
- Team Management: Oversee and manage 2-3 assistants, providing guidance and support to enhance their performance and productivity.
- Ad Hoc Tasks: Perform other duties as assigned to support the overall sales and marketing efforts.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree.
- Minimum of 5 years of working experience in the textile industry or online retail, with a focus on sales management.
- Strong business sense with a solid understanding of costing and pricing strategies.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal; fluent in English. Understanding of Chinese is a plus.
- Detail-oriented with a keen focus on accuracy, particularly with numerical data.
- Results-driven with the ability to work effectively under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
- Proven ability to handle product presentations and customer meetings confidently.
