SALES MANAGER
Location: Thao Dien, Thu Duc, HCMC
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Sales process management
- Lead, understand and contribute to the bidding process, securing project opportunities and ensuring successful outcomes.
- Supervise or manage all stages of the sales process, ensuring smooth execution and timely completion of deals.
- Develop and maintain a listing of target companies and decision-makers for prospecting and contacting/hooking.
Sales Strategy
- Identify the relevant possibilities and scenario for market opportunities; forecast changes and trends in the market.
- Develop and implement comprehensive sales and trading strategies to enhance the market presence of the company's clients in Vietnam.
- Provide expert consultation and guidance to customers on effective market entry strategies, sales techniques, and trading practices.
- Monitor and analyze trading activities, and market trends to identify areas for improvement.
- Stay abreast of industry developments, regulations, and best practices related to sales and trading in Vietnam.
Market Analysis:
- Regularly report on market trends and bidding progress to internal stakeholders, fostering transparency and consolidating key elements for decision-making.
- Oversee the collection, analysis, and interpretation of market data to support strategic decision-making, qualifying data for accuracy and relevance and turning it into business opportunities for Clients and Company.
Customer Acquisition & Relationship Management (prosp/ partner/client)
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs, and delivering customized solutions.
- Handle customer demands adeptly, presenting customized solutions based on technical expertise and strong interpersonal skills.
- Address challenges in coordinating with different departments and client organizations, using communication and collaboration skills to resolve conflicts.
- Network and establish connections with partners, associations.
- Proactively engage with prospects/ partners/clients to explore collaboration opportunities and strengthen mutually beneficial ties.
- Identify and analyze potential markets based on experience and trends, and provide recommendations to the BOM, BUD and BD to direct targeted client prospecting efforts.
Resource management:
- Foster a culture of ownership, accountability, and autonomy within the Sales and Trading division.
- Provide developmental feedback and support to help team members navigate client requirements and effectively meet client expectations.
- Involve actively in business building and controlling initiatives to ensure the department's strategic alignment with organizational goals.
- Implement a structured learning approach within the team, including regular recaps, learning outcomes, and knowledge sharing sessions.
- Recommend and provide necessary tools to enhance team productivity, ensuring that the team has access to the latest and most effective resources.
- Encourage the adoption of best practices within the team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Make strategic decisions in line with company goals, prioritizing projects based on revenue potential and organizational priorities.
Operational Management
- Build and adjust the action plan as needed.
- Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics (KPI set up) to identify areas for improvement and optimize team effectiveness.
- Collaborate with internal departments, including marketing and operations, to ensure the seamless execution of sales and trading processes.
- Participate in sales team animation activities to maintain motivation and morale.
- Apply tools and tracking methodologies to measure effectiveness.
Commercial Representation:
- Leverage international working environments experience to enhance the company's global market presence.
- Represent the Client's company at conferences, industry events, and key meetings.
- Act on behalf of Client's company to interact and respond to local market
REQUIREMENTS:
- At least 5 years of experience in similar or relevant position (open for diversified industry)
- Strong background with Business Development.
- Proven ability to drive project plans and KPI.
- Ability to work on financial monitoring and ROI analysis.
- Hands on experience on lead qualification, negotiation, sales and trading process management.
- Solid result-driven mindset with problem-solving and strategic thinking.
- Leadership, with reliable project and team management skills.
- Willingness to travel (VN and region).
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Being fluent in English (written and oral) is required. French is a big plus
