Job Description
The key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Provide technical support and handle sales projects from start to finish under the directives of the sales manager(s).
- Travel to work sites and locations to learn about project needs and design, implementation, troubleshooting, lab tests, study processes, equipment, and facilities. Using scientific, mathematical, and engineering principles to solve problems and improve procedures.
- Using computers to compile and analyze data and build rapport for the manager(s).
- Designing, proposing, implementing, reviewing, and correcting plans to ensure company goals are achieved. Observing production processes, researching, and finding ways to increase efficiency and quality.
- Evaluating fluid properties of polymer projects.
- Provide technical assistance and solutions to the customer's plant operators and maintenance personnel in the field.
- Assist in maintaining and installing polymer make-down equipment, including initial start-ups.
- Participate in creating additional volume by creating sales in field locations and providing solutions to customer initiatives.
- Attend trade shows, company-sponsored customer training, and promotions to grow volume and customer satisfaction.
- Develop and maintain a high level of general knowledge of the products and services offered by SNF.
- Maintain the confidentiality of the Company's products, customers, and proprietary information.
- Assure that SNF product performance complies with all customer and regulatory compliance.
- Follow all Company and customer safety compliance policies.
- Handle onsite training to customers.
- All related works under the direction of the manager.
Requirements
- A team player, honest, self-starter, hard-working, communicative, multitasking, observant, time management, problem-solver, and committed to assigned goals.
- Bachelor in Chemical Engineering.
- 3-year minimum experience in the chemical industry. Experienced in coagulant and flocculant products. For example, cationic/anionic polymers such as polyacrylamide, metalsorbs, monomers, etc.
- 3-year minimum experience in sales is strongly preferred.
- Communicate effectively, both speaking and writing in English.
- Knowledgeable in Microsoft 365.
