Brief Call: Our process typically begins with a brief virtual/phone conversation to get to know you! The objective Learn about you, understand your motivations, and make sure we have the right job for you!

Interviews (the average number of interviews is 3 - the number may vary depending on the level of seniority required for the position). During the interviews, you will meet people from our team: your line manager of course, but also other people related to your future role. We will talk in depth about you, your experience, and skills, but also about the position and what will be expected of you. Of course, you will also get to know Amaris: our culture, our roots, our teams, and your career opportunities!

Case study: Depending on the position, we may ask you to take a test. This could be a role play, a technical assessment, a problem-solving scenario, etc.

As you know, every person is different and so is every role in a company. That is why we have to adapt accordingly, and the process may differ slightly at times. However, please know that we always put ourselves in the candidate's shoes to ensure they have the best possible experience.

Job Description

ABOUT THE JOB

As a Scrum Master, you will play a crucial role in empowering teams to achieve peak performance by facilitating product delivery through your deep knowledge of Agile methodologies and team dynamics. You will educate teams on Agile practices, guide Scrum ceremonies, and protect them from external interruptions. By fostering collaboration between the Product Owner and team members, you will enhance understanding and alignment of roles and objectives. As both a coach and innovator, you will inspire continuous improvement and personal development. Typically, one Scrum Master collaborates with a single Agile team.

  • Facilitate Scrum processes and assist the Product Owner with release planning and backlog prioritization.
  • Cultivate high-performing teams by offering coaching on both an individual and collective level to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Promote the adoption and effective application of Agile/Scrum principles within the team.
  • Align team actions with project goals and organizational vision.
  • Enhance transparency regarding team progress and Agile processes across Business, IT, and Operations.
  • Balance immediate needs with long-term benefits, fostering a shared vision between the Product Owner and the team.
  • Establish a culture of continuous learning to enable teams to adapt to evolving circumstances.

About You

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related discipline.
  • At least 3 years of professional experience in a Scrum Master role.
  • Experience in Agile and Scrum frameworks & familiarity with Agile methodologies
  • Certification as a Certified Scrum Practitioner (CSP) or Certified Scrum Coach (CSC) is advantageous.
  • Capacity to mentor various roles within a Scrum team and build constructive relationships across the organization.
  • A strong leader with excellent communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and an assertive, energetic mindset that fosters team cohesion and supports Agile principles while building trust in a collaborative environment.
  • Experience as part of an Agile Delivery Team is a plus
