The School Is Currently Looking To Recruit a
Secondary Admissions Officer
We are looking for an outstanding and experienced Secondary Admissions Officer to join our passionate, dedicated, and experienced Admissions and Marketing Department. Reporting to the Secondary Admissions Manager you will be responsible for creating an outstanding experience for parents and students at all points in their school admissions journey from initial enquiry to the child's first day in school in our secondary campus.
Key Responsibilities Will Include
- To be a main point of contact for the co-ordination and administration of all tasks and activities related to admission and enrolment of students primarily to the BIS secondary campus but also the BIS primary campuses as and when required.
- To respond to enquiries and to provide prospective parents with accurate and up-to-date information about the school and the curricula on offer; maintain detailed knowledge of the school's provision and attend events in order to develop that knowledge.
- To guide parents and students through the admissions process, making the experience positive, straightforward, and engaging throughout.
- To meet with prospective parents and give guided fully personalised tours in person and virtually of the school following the Admissions Excellence training of the NAE Family Experience Journey (FEJ).
- Nurture a pipeline of potential parents, building an understanding of each family's needs and interests and sharing new information with the family to keep them interested in the school.
- Working with the Secondary Admissions Manager to ensure that the Headteacher, Deputy Headteachers, Director of AEN, Head of Years, Form Tutors, and other relevant colleagues are aware of new admissions and leavers by following the transition in and out procedures.
- Ensure that the school's brand and core messages are integrated throughout the entire admissions process working with the Secondary Admissions Manager and Director of Admissions and Marketing.
- To support the entire admissions team in the planning and on the day organisation of new student orientation events and be actively involved in settling new families into the school.
- To support and attend whole school admission events, parent teacher related events, marketing events and whole school events within the community, as required and asked which occasionally may be out of normal working hours and on weekends.
- Being an advocate for the school, enhancing and building our reputation both locally and globally. You will work across our school community to embed a sense of community, pride and belonging encouraging retention of students and supporting families when they relocate out of Vietnam.
Applications are invited from enthusiastic, confident, qualified, and experienced individuals. A bachelor's degree in a relevant field and a minimum of three years recent work experience in a related position such as Sales, Admissions, Marketing, or Customer Services is essential. Fluency and understanding in Vietnamese and English, with outstanding written and verbal communication in both Vietnamese and English is essential.

Our 2023 cohort of 107 IBDP graduates achieved an average score of 36.7 points, significantly higher than the global average of 30.2 points with 37.4 % of our students achieving 40 points or more and 3 students achieving a perfect score of 45. At IGCSE our students are equally successful. Our 2023 cohort of 130 students achieved 70.2% of grades at A*/A with 98.5% of our students achieving A* - C in 5 or more subjects and 25 students achieving A*/A grades across all their subjects.
