OVERALL VIEW OF THE JOB

As a Senior Account Manager, you will spearhead not only our clients advertising campaigns but also their businesses toward success. Going beyond an adviser, you are positioned as our client's business partner who fully grasps every facet of their business and harmonizes consumer mindset with them. Your comprehensive understanding of client's challenges and opportunities will enable you to drive our staff to more insightful proposals and superior business results.

JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Discover and nurture new business prospects by communicating directly with key decision-makers of clients (Director/ Manager level).
  • Possess an in-depth understanding of client business and the ability to utilize the consumer mindset analysis to support the Strategic Planning department.
  • Articulate and convey client requirements effectively.
  • Drive flawless service delivery and ensure overall client satisfaction.
  • Consistently demonstrate your strategy and presentation prowess to lead projects to success.
  • Foster and coordinate teamwork among Hakuhodo's departments.
  • Support continuous improvements of project processes across teams and clients.
  • Analyze reports (digital ads, CRM, etc.), identify issues, and devise solutions accordingly.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

1. Background

  • Previous role as a Senior Account Manager or Account Manager with at least 5 years of working experience in the Integrated Advertising Agency.
  • Excellent command of Japanese (native language) and English.

2. Experience

  • Manage consumer research for marketing purposes, IMC campaigns, and offline events.
  • Preferably has strong experience in running digital PDCA regularly to improve performance, i.e. digital ads, CRM, etc.
  • Experience in managing international teams is preferable.

3. Knowledge

  • Digital and Traditional Media.
  • Digital Transformation, Digital Platforms (DMP/ CRM/ CDP, etc.), and managing lead generation activities are a plus.

4. Skills

  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Strong time management and coordination skills.
  • Analytical skills and the ability to mine large sets of data for actionable insights is a plus.

5. Personality/ Attitude

  • Strong mindset for Account Service, Marketing Strategy, and Creative Thinking with a passion for delivering best-in-class work.
  • Proactive attitude to learn new knowledge in Digital and Marketing.
  • Independent, determined, loves taking responsibility, finding issues, and problem-solving proactively.

6. Education: Bachelor's Degree or higher.
