Job Summary:

- This position is responsible for safeguarding all the trade investment settlement in TT channel for respective Sales Units in accordance with approved budget, internal process, local Tax and other legislations. Ensure the accuracy, timely recognition of D&A/ S&D expense and integrity of P&L, Balance sheet reports related to defined scope.

1. Financial Control and Asset Stewardship

- Safeguard company's investment in TT channel by verifying the payment request for all activities to distributors/ Agents, secondary Outlets, SPVB and distributor's sales forces gate keeping for cash out with commercial effectiveness and compliance with internal policy, tax and statutory requirements.

- Identify potential risk, propose effective internal control design and implement improvement initiatives for settlement process to protect company assets

- Control D&A/ S&D/ A&M spending within approved budget

2. Financial Transaction & operating Control

- Issue/ receive, verify and retain VAT invoices, settlement documents in compliance with internal Control, Tax and other statutory requirements

- Issue Credit/ debit MEMO & timely recognize of actual payment in accordance with accounting standard & internal process.

- Verify accrual amount proposed by SAP & post GL for D&A, S&D investment in TT channel of respective Sales Unit. Monitor accrual quality via fall-in/fall-out

- Prepare MEC reports: D&A/ S&D/ A&M accrual, P&L trend analyze data to timely discover abnormal items, deliver timely and accurate P&L, B/S closing.

- Coordinate self-assessment, internal audit, Tax health check, corporate audit & independent audit for Trade Settlement TT to ensure timely fulfillment of agenda.

3. Partnership & Process Efficiency

- Monitor and follow up Bank transfer, AR offset or Free Good/ Gift issuance Bank to ensure completeness and speed of service for TT trade settlement process at respective Sales Unit.

- Provide solution for any issue related to control area in a defined scope with balancing risk and benefit for business

- Collaborate with related functions to implement initiatives/ automatic solution/ system development for trade settlement TT.

- Coordinate with peer accountant to ensure consistent process, advisory to business across nationwide.

- Handle ad-hoc requests/ data analysis/ projects to support decision making from Line Manager/ Management team related to trade Settlement TT

Requirements:

BA or MA degree in Accounting/Auditing/Finance. Minimum 3 years experiences in similar roles

Strong technical understanding and knowledge including accounting standard, tax, legislation, company policy and procedures.

- Ability to work under time pressure, work independently with minimal supervision

- Willing to learn and improve effectiveness in daily operation

- Strong system knowledge and fluent usage of SAP system

- Good communication, problem solving & influencing skill
